RDS Freshman Stallions on a Roll!

Spring has sprung and the two year old stock horses are heading out for their first efforts on the track! Rainbow Dreams Stables is pleased two announce that 2001 foals by our two freshman stallions, Multi-MRPA CH/MSW Splashdown and MSW Travel On By, have already joined the ranks of stakes winners!

October Moon Acres-bred WILD SPLASHES, a 2001 buckskin tobiano Paint filly by Splashdown and out of MCA CH Wild Rose QH, captured the win in March 15th Arkansas Shadows Raceway's Spot A Winner Futurity (300y, Paint Division) with a speedy si-96 speed index and setting a new track record in the process! From his first starters, Splashdown has also sired alw wnr Breeze Bar Splash si-90 and mdn wnr Liberal Downs si-86 [o/b Dana Smith]. Splashdown's book is closed for 2001 but he's available at stud from 2002 on to quality race-bred mares.

Dragonfly Ranch-bred DYNAMYT TRAVEL, a 2001 bay blanket Appaloosa filly by Travel On By and out of MSW & MRAA CH producer Dynamyt, stole the April 1st Wasatch Downs' Free Willie Futurity (250y) in a fantastic wire to wire performance hitting the wire 4 lengths ahead of the 2nd place horse and nabbing an si-95! Two other Travel On By babies also earned a bit of black type at Wasatch Downs on the first - Moon Travel ('01 bay leopard colt ex Special Moon, bred by CRR) ran 2nd in the Wasatch Juvenile Stakes (350y) earning a speed index of 99 and Belle Travels ('01 bay blanket filly ex Belle Poitrine TB, bred by CRR) placed 3rd in the Wasatch Juvenile for Fillies (350y) with a speed index of 93. Travel On By has a limited number of bookings available for 2001 and is available at stud for 2001 and beyond.
